I read the reviews before coming here, so I had pretty high expectations, and Herbert's managed to exceed them anyway.

Try staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere was fantastic and the food was immaculate.

Such a hidden gem, I can't recommend it enough.

I've been here a few times now and I really like it, the food is good... But not the best thing about the place.

The owner is always there, and seems like a genuinely nice guy who will go out of his way to make your feel welcome. The fitout is nice, but it's quite small, so book ahead for dinner.

I really like the rotating menu of craft beers on tap, the beer isn't cheap, but I also appreciate that getting kegs in from small breweries would be expensive so I'm happy to pay.

This is one of the best additions to Evatt shops since Video 2000 took over the same place back in the 90s!

Highly recommend a visit.

Awesome spot; highly recommend for a chill place to have a cold beverage at the Evatt Shops. Lovey acoustic tunes and friendly, welcoming, efficient service. They’ve got a great thing going at Herbert’s at Evatt. Looking forward to the next visit; thank you!

If you haven't tried Herbert's, you're missing out.

We're lucky to live near by. Every meal I've had here has been perfect. The menu periodically changes, so there's always a reason to pay a visit. Same goes for the tap beers. The staff are friendly, I always feel so welcomed. The food comes out fast too. Some sound proofing would help on Friday night, when the rowdy people visit ?. Seriously this is my only complaint.

The small but well-curated range of independently-owned craft beers are reason enough to visit Herbert’s. I had a pretty bloody good grilled chicken burger as well. Dino and staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Had a great lunch, highly recommend the pie, great atmosphere and personal service. Not a huge Venue but that just makes it better. No need to travel to Manuka for a great meal and Venue.
Intriguing local the photo art. Dare you name were they are all taken.
