Parent's perspective, less than one star. My child has just finished high school here and my experience over that time has ranged from 'extremely concerning' to 'mildly incompetent'. In hindsight, I should have sent my child to a private school. I could list dozens of problems over the past 6 years. However here's some recent ones: The HSC assigned teachers in general simply not knowing the curriculum well enough with mixed messaged feedback that often made no sense; HSC teachers were often replaced; HSC teacher not turning up to a study day, (apparently forgot) wasting a day for students; sending out a 'please explain' for being absent the day before a HSC exam (I'm not kidding); and final 'kick in the teeth', withholding (paid for) formal tickets from students until their voluntary payment accounts had been settled by their parents. That last one was utterly disgraceful.
Yes, there was the odd clever, inspiring teacher, however so many were either not at an expected standard or just didn't really care. I think it's reasonable to say part of the issue is not just the school, but the public education system itself, which seems to pride itself these days on leftist, woke ideology, often 'teaching' opinion based education while forgoing critical thinking and the raw basics of maths and science. I do have some confidence in the new Principal who seems to be really trying to make a positive difference, but it remains to be seen if genuine long lasting changes will be embedded. The best thing I did for my child was get private tutors. It was absolutely necessary.

school never cared about mental health or bullying all they cared about was education or if you wore the wrong uniform. wouldn’t want anyone to go through anything in that school definitely over hyped for the wrong reasons

this school needs a 0 star button because oh my days if you want to go to a school that cares more about what your wearing on your feet rather then your mental health and education! what a school this is for you...ive been to alot of bad school but this one is just the absoulute worst!!!!..honeslty that 1 star should count for one of the only good things at this school which is the new princeple hes an amazing person!

I have had the upmost unfortunate experience I personally didn’t go to this school but I wanted to go knowing that my true love goes here. So the school has some negative reviews bad experiences from children who went there but is that all it takes to stop someone finding their loved one?

If you want to have a joyous time of pure education, personal growth and good memories looking back on high school, this is the place for you!!!

The principal is a heartless and cruel women, does not listen, extremely dismissive of children’s mental health and negative experiences and says that children will get bullied at every school and students need to ‘build resilience’ to it.
Perhaps the reason suicide rates are so high for teenagers is because people such as herself have this revolting mentality.

I took my son to this school and he sent me a video of him finding people doing vapes in the toilet and getting beat up in the bathroom. This stuff shouldn't be thrown under the rug like nothing happened!

Do something about the problems in the school or I will call HR and get this school shut down for good.
