Our recent school camp experience at The Francis Retreat was remarkable, largely owing to the excellent accommodation provided. Set amidst the beautiful trees and the beach, the accommodation is well-maintained and very comfortable.

The cabins were spacious and clean and all have their own bathroom with multiple showers, providing a cozy and secure environment for the students.

The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always available to address any concerns or queries. Their commitment to ensuring the comfort and safety of the campers was truly commendable and added to the overall positive experience.

Overall, the accommodation at Francis Retreat contributed significantly to the success of our school camp. With its comfortable facilities, scenic surroundings, and attentive staff, it provided a memorable and enjoyable stay for all the students. We look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend it to other schools.

We just shared a beautiful three days here at this retreat. Everything, and I mean everything was perfect. The hospitality is professional and yet very friendly. The food delicious. The cabins immaculate, with everything you need for a perfect stay away from home. Grounds lovely and well cared for. Huge gum trees and a swimming pool too. The beach just a walk away. Group facilities were really well thought out and again had everything. I for one will be telling all my friends, and I definitely will come back and stay again. Congratulations to all the staff and team, a truly fantastic effort, well done.

A well organised weekend was to say the least.. I had the pleasure to stay here while my son was at a surf camp for the weekend and I felt compelled to write a review as from the first point of contact to when we sadly had to go home! I was super impressed! Clean comfortable accommodation, excellent service and the grounds of the site offer everything for the sport minded family and awesome set up for school camps!

Sensational! Be even better with tea/coffee/milk in the pristine cabin! I want to live there! Short walk to THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH! Perfect hosts. Would love a few hammocks to finish off the complete escape from the world. I have already rebooked! You will not be disappointed! Utopia!

This place has beautifully maintained grounds, clean comfortable accommodation outstanding facilities and amazing staff that go above and beyond to make everyones stay enjoyable. Both children and staff thank you.

Our team of Salvation Army Emergency Services Port Macquarie NSW have been preparing lunch and dinner here at the centre for flood victoms.
We were visited today by Gladys our NSW Premier and she came in and thanked us for all that we are doing. She was accompanied with Leslie Williams, and John Baralaro and their other representatives were there as well.
The Francis Retreat staff have been very obliging, and we thank them for all they have done by placing flood victims in their units and for all the help they have been towards us.
I highly recommend this place. They have a lot of school kids here usually. But you could stay too. Not far from beaches and great country shopping and restaurants
