I was one of those parents a little sceptical of full time day care for my kids - I wasn't sure that was the best thing to do. Happy to report I was wrong, and Bumblebees has a lot to do with that. My two kids love going there, they have great friends - and it's a really supportive little community.

Thanks to the Team for keeping my children safe and educated - and for caring about them. My only prior daycare experience (with another provider) showed that the staff and attitude can really make a difference, hence the change to Bumblebees. If we had another kid, they'd be going here as well!

Both my kids have been in BBB since they were 5 months old. The carers are like family to us. We get greeted with a warm welcome every morning and afternoon with a little tale of what the kiddos got up to that day. They genuinely care about the children and even have helped to address behavioral issues as required.
They helped to toilet train both and they helped to sort out picky eating habits.

The owner, Prue, has a lovely manner with the children. Prue helped me when I had issues with Centre link, going out of her way to help me sort it out. She has a lighthearted approach to issues which is refreshing, I always find it easy to talk to her about anything and she helps to resolve it without stress.
Prue has transformed the Daycare Centre from what it used to be as Golden Days.
It is a happy environment where my kids can thrive and be themselves.
Their dedication to the school readiness program prepared my girl for school and the transition was seamless. She enjoyed what she learned at BBB.
It was hard for me to adjust when she started school, because I didn't get the daily updates anymore that I used to get from Prue and her team.
I am so thankful for having a safe place to leave my kids everyday. I know they are cared for and I can get on with the day without a worry.

Bumblebees Berowra what can I say! Amazing staff with so much heart and care. It is a small centre with the perfect family style environment that we loved the most. It’s was wonderful seeing our daughter get excited about going to daycare here everyday for the last 3 or so years. Whilst she is off to big school this year, she still talks fondly of BBB in particular her favourite educator Prue. All educators really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. A big 5 Stars from the Read Family 🙂

I love BBB and so does my daughter. They are so caring and considerate, really take each child and their families into their care. I couldn't recommend a better childcare facility.

The school is warm and inviting, the kids have so many options and aspects to develop and grow. The staff are so lovely and are great with the kids. My daughter has formed an amazing bond with all of them. Thank You for your continued improvement and constant effort in providing a 5 star childcare!

Size
Bumble Bee's is a small business with a great team of Educators. It has a family vibe, there are only a maximum of 29 children at any one time. My preference for my care was a smaller centre.

Quality
The owner is very focused on constant improvement in the service and really you cannot compare what Bumble Bees is today to what it was when she took over in 2017. The staff are lovely caring people who bring their full selves to their job and they really care. The outdoor environment has been renovated, fantastic new grass, real natural elements and real dirt. The mud kitchen is a hit with my kiddo's. They provide a great menu, food cooked onsite and produce sourced locally.

My Why
Where you send your children to be cared for in place of you and who you choose is an emotional decision. Every parent has a different idea of what they want for their child and value different aspects of a service. For me, it’s not just about the physical centre it’s also about how my children are loved and nurtured. At Bumble Bees I know my children have the freedom to grow into the people they will become. Individuality is a focus and each of my children have the opportunity to learn about what they find interesting. I certainly know that when Mr 4 goes to school, we will not have a problem on news day ! It's news everyday according to him and he loves doing school readiness with Robyn. Talks about it constantly! He will be in a good place when he goes off to school.

My family has been at Bumble Bees before it was Bumble Bees and the transformation is amazing. I’m so glad we stayed with Bumble Bees, because I couldn’t imagine anywhere better for my children to be. I am glad we stayed because if we didn’t we wouldn’t have met Prue. Prue is a kind and compassionate Educator, she has experiences raising children that I have not had and I value her feedback. She is great for advice and tips on behaviour..... also reassurance. Prue is firm and sets clear boundaries for my children, but they absolutely love and respect her. It is always a good sign when your child doesn't want to leave or throws themselves into their carers arms. It hasn't always been this way during our 8 year relationship with this service, but i can happily say now it is.

Perfection doesn't exist, but happiness does when you are child and your job is to play.

Prue and the team at Bumblebees are exceptional. Over the past 4 years or so we've had five kids go through the centre and our experience has been nothing but incredible. Bumblebees is like an extension of our own family and our kids just love going there. There are never any tears or anxious goodbyes when we drop them off - they sometimes skip off into the centre without turning to say goodbye, which tells us all we need to know about what you get when you're a part of the Bumblebees family!

We're leaving Berowra, which means moving the kids to a new centre, and one of our only regrets will be that they won't get to spend all of their pre-school years at Bumblebees.

To Prue and the whole team, thank you for all your support and love for our kids while they've been with you.

BB became family from the moment I let my daughter at the Center. Welcoming with a smile and always a lovely thing to say to us. My daughter loved being there 🙂 And the plus she was a very bad eater and at BB she was eating all her veggies with no problem ... If you are looking for a friendly, healthy childcare Bumble Bees is for you !!!
