After moving to the area, we faced the difficult decision of finding a new day care centre for our daughter. We were impressed with the extra curricular activities and modern playground but after several months we had to change centre as it was clear that our daughter wasn't happy. It's only after moving to another centre, seeing her settle really well and having meaningful conversations with the educators that we realise something was clearly wrong. Maybe if we'd have formed some meaningful relations with some of the staff, the outcome would have been different, but quite often we didn't even get a goodbye at the end of the day, nevermind a rundown of her day and progress.

As a parent, it's incredibly reassuring to know that when I drop my children off they are not only safe but also thriving in such a loving and enriching environment. What truly sets this daycare apart is the exceptional staff. The team at LZ Mt Colah go above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. Leaving your child in their hands feels like leaving them with family. A big thanks to this incredible team for their dedication to creating a haven where kids thrive and parents breathe easy! ?

A regret in enrolling and keeping our child at Little Zak's Mount Colah for the several months child attended, especially after a change in management. The initial manager was pleasant, easy to engage with, courteous and professional. However, in our experience and interactions with staff member who moved into the centre management position, there was a clear lack of professionalism and respect in communication in addition to a general abruptness that made for shocking interactions. There were a handful of educators whose care for the children could be genuinely felt. However, when a child cried at drop off throughout the duration of several months of enrolment but settled within 3days of being placed at a subsequent different daycare and thrived there, we realised Little Zak's Mount Colah was not a good fit for our child's care or our family. Not all centres will meet one's basic requirements of care but it was a lesson learned that a centre rated as exceeding expectations according to formal standards could be as such; great on paper is one thing, reality differed. If a child continues to be unhappy and as parents, there isn't a respectful and professional two way communication that can be had with direct centre management, moving elsewhere is the best decision.

My eldest has been attending LZMC for over 2 years and my youngest is about to start in a few months. I have nothing but good things to say about the centre and the team there. The centre is laid out well, it's not too big and feels homey. There are separate play areas for the younger and older kids which is great as I know some centres in the area just have one giant play area. The staff are fantastic and you can tell they really care about the children, even the centre director knows all the kids by name and makes a point of spending time with them. I can't think of a better group to help teach and raise my girls. Would 100% recommend.

LZ Mt C has had their share of the challenges facing all daycares because we all know the industry is facing staff shortages and the like. But what has been great to see over the last 6 months or so are the huge efforts the team and management have made to make improvements in spite of those challenges. I know I'm not the only parent who can really feel that difference. I love that my little one is very attached to her educators (one in particular!) and you can see that her regular educators really care about her in return. She learns so much that I'm constantly surprised by her knowledge, and the kids get to take part in an awesome range of activities - French, yoga and soccer at the moment. The facilities are great too.

We currently have two children attending Little Zak's Mount Colah, and we couldn't be more pleased with the excellent care and support they're receiving. Our kids have grown remarkably confident and are thriving ?

I would give minus stars if I could.
It's stuff are unbelievably rude!
The head office also take no responsibility for anything.
In general, they don't care about you and your baby. Be aware of this fact.

The ladies at this centre are very caring! I love the fact we get constant updates on what the kids are doing and love the app where you can check how the day is going on “real time”. Thanks for your wonderful work!
