It’s taken me a while to write a review but today has tipped me over. If you are thinking of sending your child here, and you have a choice, think twice. Over the past 7 years that I have had kids in this school I have submitted multiple ‘please explain’ emails due to teachers actions. From body shaming, being humiliated by teachers in front of their peers to being conveniently blind to bullying. I can’t forget the worst (by far) was having a teacher lock my child out of a class room during a REAL lockdown last year. Only to have this ‘teacher’ mock her on the other side of a cracked open door whilst she was panicking in fear and begging to be let in because she was in close proximity to the incident. Sad because I know there are some great teachers there, but there are one too many bad ones it seems.

This school is genuinely terrible. It doesn't cater to the children's leaning needs, the teachers don't care enough about the children's education and the students are really discriminatory based on age, gender, sexuality and special learning conditions. I have a friend in year 9 who goes here and she doesn't even know analog time because nobody taught her! The quality of education here is abysmal as well as the children's behaviour. I highly suggest you don't go to this school or send your child to this school unless you would like them to be subject to these conditions.

Suspends kids for truancy, doesn't help your child in anyway as they are more reputatuion based school but they can't run a school and expel students for nothing. I recieve threats of expulsion from KHS for something I didnt do and said it is because of my reputation and assosciation with friends. Just because one of my friends makes a bad decision that I am unaware thats occurring then why do I get suspended and threatened with expulsion if I complete all my work, assignments as well as I am respectful to everyone if I am treated with respect and not downgrade by this putrid school.

Even though they have "Special Needs Classes". If you, or you have a child with Autism. You will NEVER get treated with the respect and dignity that you deserve! I was getting beaten up by other students every day and they did NOTHING to stop it!

I felt like I was in such danger that I'd have to run into the National Park to get away from everyone! The department KNEW I had been traumatised by bullying in another school and that I had PTSD because of it! And they did NOTHING!

They also neglected my education severely. I only had 9 full days out of the 15 months I could last there. And during those partial days, it was always in the Afternoon when there was no lessons. Which meant I didn't learn anything!

I'm now doing home-schooling thanks to this school, and many others. And also because the Department would only let me go to this school, and no other school that might of had the resources to help me! I don't know if I'll ever graduate from High School. And that'll put me in a life of significant disadvantage thanks to the Victorian, Ableist, system we call "school".

NEVER get anywhere near this school!

My children go to this school. I am so disappointed with the schools lack of support for the a student's efforts to raise money for a great cause. This shows dedication and social awareness. I would think that the faculty would be supportive of this and encourage students to think of others. These are the values that I want my children to learn.... So proud of this students efforts and proud of those that supported her. KHS gets an F...

Strongly recommend you put your children in extra tutoring if you enrol them in this school. I've heard science teachers mention that the Year 11 Students are doing Year 8 work. Maths in the first 2 years (And sometimes in the other years) is just revising what you already know from primary school and the only subjects where you learn much is science and history.

Went to school here 2012-2014. Seeing reviews about threats of expulsion and lack of teaching. Hasn’t changed a bit.
