I did the 1:1 Design Day with Ash in Feb this year and it was wonderful! To be honest as soon as I saw a date that lined up with my schedule I pounced on it!

From being a member of Academy Wildflower for quite some time I knew that there would be so much value to actually learn from Ash in person for a whole day and focus on topics specific to me.

What I love about Ash and what she offers to other florists like myself, is that she really is so genuine and authentic in her mission to educate other florists and share her wealth of knowledge on sustainable floristry techniques as well as all things related to running your business and the world of weddings and events floristry.

Ash is just such a nice down to earth person, with a great energy and vibe. So you already know that spending the day with her will be lighthearted and fun! You really do feel like you can let your guard down and ask her absolutely anything, and without being judged too for being “dumb” or asking a silly question!

It can be so daunting putting yourself out there and asking questions from those in your field that are experienced beyond you and that you look up to - there’s always the fear you’ll be ignored or be made to feel silly for not already knowing what your seeking. And it’s happened to me before, particularly in the beginning of my floristry career and business. When that happens your self esteem and belief in your self really does take a blow.

So I applaud Ash for creating and offering the Academy Wildflower platform she has for so many like minded individuals to connect and learn from each other in a kind and empathetic way, and now for giving more of her expertise and knowledge in the form of these 1:1 design days such as I did as well as her mentoring calls.

So obviously - definitely recommend doing a design day with Ash if you can! I learned so much ✨✨

Classy Comms...is exactly what I've been needing! A set of email templates for every possible scenario as an event florist. I've really been trying to streamline my communications with clients, and these templates have literally saved me days and days of time!

While I'm here, I also need to brag about my one-on-one design day that I had with Ash in May. The best investment I've made to my floral education. What I liked the most is that Ash really gets into the nitty gritty of pricing, logistics, her favourite growers etc, and it really does feel like you can ask her anything!
