Traumatic..
the one word I would use to describe my child’s enrolment there, for both him and myself. This experience has made me doubt every childcare I ever walk into. If you want your child to be hit by an ‘educator’, baby sat by an iPad and discriminated against- this is the place for you. The centre & head office did not make appropriate accommodations to include my child who is autistic. He received funding for an inclusion person for his room which was not utilised, however blamed him for the ‘educators’ feeling traumatised and worn down. When really this stems from the lack of management and disregard for staff wellbeing. His enrolment had been cancelled after multiple complaints and concerns over his and other children’s safety, particularly about a gate that they changed that he could get out of. Instead of fixing the gates they chose to terminate his enrolment. If he can get out then what is stopping the other children. This place is a disgrace and is highlighted by the way ‘educators and management’ speak to the parents and question them about their personal lives. For the sake of your child, don’t send them here. You don’t know what else is happening behind closed doors after you leave & you don’t know what they aren’t telling you to protect themselves from the lack of care they are showing to your child. Child care is hard to find and expensive but definitely not wor to sending your child to a place with free spots especially since there is normally a reason people are also avoiding/leaving that place. Children deserve the same respect as adults do and you won’t find respect is a value of this centre.

Unprofessional, not inclusive and disrespectful.
The carers did not accommodate for young autistic boy and cancelled the child's enrolment giving the parents less than 3 hours notice on a Friday afternoon without any explanation. There is no real care for the wellbeing of the children.

We recently emigrated from the uk to Australia so we’re looking for a preschool suitable for our daughters when we came across Young Academics Kingsford.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm from the staff. Their genuine care for each child is evident, creating a nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe and valued.

The facilities are exceptional, providing ample space for both indoor and outdoor activities. The classrooms are thoughtfully designed, filled with engaging materials and age-appropriate toys that encourage exploration and creativity

I highly recommend Young Academics Kingsford without reservation. It has been an invaluable experience for my daughters, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth in a supportive and enriching environment.

This is one of the best centres I visited when looking for child care centre in the area.

My bub has now started in the nursery room and the educators are all very lovely and nurturing, especially as she adjusted to the new environment. The educators are very conscious of all the different personalities and accomodating to their learning needs so each bub continues to grow and be happy in the environment.

Facilities are very clean, and their lots of preparation goes into educational activities for the week

We are absolutely blown away by the excellent service that Young Academics has provided our 2 year old son (& us as a family) since coming to YA, Kingsford. The office support staff go over and above to accomodate where possible and they don’t treat you like a number, but as a valued customer. On multiple occasions they have continued to offer excellent service and care. Our son was previously at another local daycare centre and our experience at YA Kingsford has been outstanding in comparison - and this has really shown us just how sloppy the other centre was. The staff and team at the YA Kingsford centre are friendly, warm, caring, fantastic communicators and dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for your child. They have also recently renovated their facilities and it’s warm, clean, well equipped and safe. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND YA - thanks for all that you continue to do.
