All my boys have attended on-and-off for over 13 years. We love Head Academy - they are more than just a martial arts club, they are a community. The instructors are all wonderful, they are all talented, patient and kind and know how to mentor each individual child to help them progress in their own time. We have recently joined the Neurodiversity specific class and appreciate the effort to accommodate each child.

All 3 of my girls have been attending for many years & we love attending! Their confidence, focus & skill is evident & grows every week. We tried out many different self defence options but this place was the most nurturing whilst also developing their stamina & skills. My eldest isn’t the most fit & struggled to do the warm ups at the beginning but now she is blue sash & doing everything required of her. The instructors take the time to connect with each student & fine tune each movement and my girls love them all. Their gradings are inspirational and I love my girls watching what they are working towards but also bringing out their fierceness & confidence resulting in a “don’t mess with me” attitude in real life. Can’t recommend these guys enough!!!

We drive 25 minutes to come here every Saturday, when we have a KF school across the street, shows how good this school is!
Frankie has learnt a lot over the last 2 years working on behaviours discipline and techniques
Teachers care a lot and follow up constantly
And it's a nice small community too

Head Academy is the BEST studio in Sydney for Kung Fu. The instructors are incredibly engaging, knowledgeable and encouraging with kids of all levels. Our son's confidence and coordination have grown immensely over the last couple of years and we couldn't recommend the academy more! They have a great schedule of class options, along with other events (movie nights and more) and it feels more like a family than a business.

I appreciate everything about this school. My son trained here for 6 years and I have trained since 2016. The instructors are amazing with both kids and adults. They pay attention to their students strengths and weaknesses and teach accordingly.
The instructors breadth of knowledge, not only about Kung Fu, but fitness, strength and conditioning make this an amazing place to train, for complete over all great physical and mental health.

My 10 year old son has been attending Head Academy Leichhardt for the past 4 years. It's always a highlight of our week. The instructors are consistent, highly knowledgeable and very caring. They instill confidence and respect in their students through warm and supportive leadership and expert instruction. My son has benefited so much from his time at Head Academy - not only by acquiring physical skills and confidence but also developing emotional resilience and discipline. I'm so grateful we found Head Academy and regularly recommend it to others.

My son started here when he was about 4, and my daughter started as soon as she could. It's been great for them. My son struggled to join in at first, but the instructors are great with anxious kids and put in so much time to make him feel at ease and settled. I joined myself a few years later, and really enjoy it. It's a friendly, relaxed and welcoming place, which caters to all ages. Within the curriculum, they do a great job of almost tailoring things you suit each person, while still challenging and encouraging them along the way.
