The team at Kinder Haven 2 have been incredible at helping both my son and me adjust to daycare.
To see him smile at the ladies when we drop him off, knowing how happy he is and all the fun he has there makes drop off much easier. We love getting updates throughout the day and pictures of what he’s been up to.
They always take the time to give us an update when we pick him up with how he has been and an update of how much he’s eaten! Thank you Kinder Haven 2 🙂

The team here have been amazing in helping my little boy (and me) adjust to being away from eachother. They are all so caring and understanding and have been nothing short of fantastic especially when accommodating my little boys fussy eating. He has adjusted much quicker than I ever imagined and has formed great bonds with his teachers and since joining he has grown so much in confidence.

Kinder Haven 2 was the first daycare we looked at for our 11 month old son to attend and we instantly fell in love with the space, the care the educators have for the kids and how family friendly it is. My son has been attending for a month now and he absolutely loves it. The educators are amazing and you can see that the children love being there, our son has already gained so many new skills. We love receiving updates & photos throughout the day and the director Mel is always available for questions and a bright happy smile each day.

Jannali Kinder 2 have been incredible and made my son feel so loved and supported. The staff are fantastic and it’s been a great experience in preschool for my son.

Over the past 9 months about three quarters of permanent centre staff have left and haven’t replaced them in kind. This leaves agency staff to fill the gap with no continuity.

Permanent educators are generally both capable and friendly, although often look stressed under increasing pressure. We find ourselves wondering who’ll be next in the series of resignations. Explanations provided by management seem dubious at best - it’s embarrassing. The common denominator seems like G8 squeezing their staff.

The other noteworthy aspect is pricing - about $40 more per day than centres nearby for no obvious reason. Clearly this money isn’t flowing onto staff or they wouldn’t be leaving in droves. It looks like we’re paying shareholder dividends not educators’ wages.

Overall I want the best for the centre and my child to have great learning experiences - G8 needs to wake up. Your staff and the families attending deserve better.

My son has been attending JKH2 for close to a year now. He absolutely loves going to daycare and has formed amazing bonds with the educators.
I receive updates about his day and love seeing the photos of what he has been up to.
They have great facilities that allow the children to explore and be creative in a safe and nurturing environment.

Sadly the resignations of experienced staff has continued leaving the centre with a very high turnover rate. The prices went up to an eye watering amount, significantly higher then the surrounding centres, and it seems none of the funds are passed on to the hard working staff.

Our daughter is happy there and the centre is pleasant but sadly I’m expecting the next person she becomes comfortable with too leave. I’d love to stay however with the financial pressures and lack of staffing we may have to think about alternatives.
