My son has been going to Orchard ELC for almost 4 months now and he’s doing great there. He loves the educators, plays with lots of toys, enjoys the food and he is learning to become more autonomous and confident in his skills. We also love receiving the daily updates and getting photos of what he’s been doing on the day via the app! I’ve recommended Orchard to many of my friends with little ones ☺️

My child has been attending Orchard Early Learning at Kirrawee for over a year. When he started he was under 12months. Although there has been some staff turnover which I have been well informed about I could not be happier with this daycare. The centre has a fantastic outdoor space with the area for the under 3’s completely undercover with a play area and separate meal area. The educators are welcoming, friendly and supportive and I feel very comfortable communicating with them. They also use a great app which provides up to date information regarding my child’s sleep, eating, toileting routines as well daily updates on activities and learning. The centre has a great philosophy to education and paddock to plate with great food! I would highly recommend this centre.

We have loved having our son attend. He has been there for over a year now and he is thriving. He absolutely loves going and all of he's educators and the staff are second to none. We would recommend Orchard to any / all parents who were seeking to do daycare and have done. The environment is nurturing and our son has gone from strength to strength since attending. From the moment he started my hubby and I were put at ease with the whole process, as it is not easy having your kids away from you. But every transition has been smooth and has felt comfortable. He has peers/ friends and looks forward to going & playing, growing and learning with them. Everyone of course will have there own experience but ours has been great! Recommend highly ?

I have been sending my child to Orchard ELC at Kirrawee for the past 3 years and I have found the centre to be amazing. I feel very safe leaving my child in their capable hands. The staff are all extremely nurturing, patient and friendly. The facility is always clean and there are always lots of exciting, new activities for the children to do. The menu includes a huge variety of healthy, nutritious meals! Thank you, Orchard.

I have both of my daughters (2y and 1y) going to Orchard for nearly 8m and I am really grateful for the hard work everyone put in daily. They had a few bumps on the road at the end of the year, with rotation of staff. However, they are back stronger and with great team members. It will never be perfect, as neither of us, but it’s important to know that they are willing to listen to our needs and have a two way communication. One of the best part is the fresh cooking meals they have, of course my kids go for every meal there, but not at home. Lol.

I hope to be able to take both of my girls there until Preschool. Thanks Orchard team for the daily effort. ?

Both my Kids went to Orchard, my youngest is still there and he loves it. He loves Pooja, Tina & Justine and that is evident every morning when he runs over to them for a hug. The centre itself has lots to do for the kids and one of the reasons I picked Orchard is its fun outdoors area, with chickens, vegetable garden and a big old tractor for climbing.
The only comment I would say is communication could be better amongst the team.

We have had our son in Orchard for almost a year now. And while there have been some significant staff changes, we are very happy with the warmth and care the educators are providing.

The centre itself is lovely, with modern and large scale play areas in which the children are able to explore and play in all weather. They are constantly updating play areas to engage the children and encourage development.

They have made an active effort in the last couple of months to keep parents updated and informed through their comprehensive parent portal.

At our previous daycare we had no notifications during the day - bar occasional photos. The Owna App is updated throughout the day with everything including daily menus and food intake, sleep times, toileting and even potty training attempts!

While the centre suits our independent little boy, I would hesitate recommending it to families with children that require 1-1 constant support. It is a large capacity daycare, so they may not receive the same level of attention as at a family daycare.

Our little guy has been attending The Orchard Early learning centre at Kirrawee since last October now. He was 2 and 2months when he started and totally new to spending days away from his parents.
The initial separation anxiety was soon calmed by the lovely kind and caring staff. They always welcomed him on arrival and truly assisted his settling in. He is now a big 2 and a half and has made many friends, with the staff and other children.
He now runs in the door keen to join in of a morning there now and be with his friends.
The staff and management there are a highly motivated team and its a beautiful place with fantastic facilities. They have a modern multi level building with great parking for drop offs and pick-ups.
The complex has large indoors and out doors play areas protected from the weather and even a roof top garden where the children grow vegetables and things for their garden to plate menu items.
The food items prepared in house are incredible and of a very high standard, as is there attention to detail on all aspects of development for little people, including transition to toilet training. There daytime sleeps are well catered for with all the children's little beds with linen provided.
They have other special feature entertainment for the children like a visit from the reptile man, just this week which had the childrens attention completely... My boy just loved it and was completely fascinated.
I cannot recommend this centre highly enough they have been such a great support to our little guy and us as first time parents. Lisa the manager is so helpful with her guidance patience and knowledge, we feel completely confident and comfortable knowing our boy is part of this wonderful place.
5 stars and so glad we have a place of this calibre in the Shire.
