The courses themselves are great. The people are okay but their communication SUCKS. My subscription ended a year ago. I just got an email a couple days ago saying they are now charging me for an extension I never asked for. And they claim they have been sending me texts to tell me but I will gladly show them my phone bill and how I do not have one text from them. Be careful what you’re being charged for because they tend to be very sneaky about it.

I just completed my Mathematics 7-12 grade alternative teacher certification through 240 Certification. Honestly I first considered other programs that appeared to be easier but then I found that school administrators in my area ranked graduates of 240 Certification higher than teachers from any other ACP program.
I will tell you that this program is VERY rigorous, but I want to be the best teacher I can be, so I chose 240 Certification. I am glad that I did.
The people that provide the instruction are truly vested in creating the best teachers! A great example is Dr Kristy Mulkey, who gives a lot of her personal experiences in the videos that helped me get a realistic picture of what to expect as a teacher and how to perform professionally in a challenging environment.
I had 4 job offers and will be teaching Advanced Geometry this Fall!

I transferred from another program due to inconsistent information and poor customer service. 240 Certification was like a breath of fresh air. I immediately got not only an email from my very own advisor, I also got additional guidance from their Director of Certification. I was offered a teaching position and because of the other program it was looking like I was not going to be able to accept the job. However, thanks to 240 Certification and their willingness to not only assist me but to also work with the school who offered me the position, I am able to start working tomorrow in that position as a long term substitute while completing my certification through 240 Certification. I received my certification through 240 last year. My advisor was amazing and the program kept in constant contact and did not allow me to fall behind. Even now, I have finished the program and have had to contact them with questions I have. I always get a response same day and they have been so helpful. I have seen nightmare stories from other programs that either allowed teachers to not complete all steps leaving them in a bind or from some of the larger programs where they can't get into contact with someone for days or weeks. That was never the case with 240.
